We Need Your Help for the Band Fireworks Stand!

Hello Band families!!!

We’re so excited to officially start scheduling our 4th of July Fireworks stand!! Although many things will be different one thing is the same…  we NEED YOUR HELP!

Due to many of our fundraisers being canceled our program has unfortunately lost out on more than $40K! Because of that and the fact that we will not travel until 2022 we need to do everything we can to raise money for our band program right now.  We have high hopes the fireworks stand will be a huge success this year but please understand this will be a Music Booster fundraiser NOT an individual student fundraiser. We’ve had great turnout for our fireworks stand in past years because families could raise money for themselves, but we’re concerned that without that motivation we may not have enough manpower to run the stand.  We hope we can appeal to your sense of duty and commitment to the program to sign up to help us out.  With the cancelation of major fireworks displays in the area and July 4 falling on a Saturday this promises to be a busy fireworks season.

If graduates and alumni (from any year) would like to help us out at the stand this year, please feel free to sign up!  Incoming freshmen families, this is a great way to get acquainted with our existing band families and students!

We have plans in place to be able to facilitate a hybrid shopping experience which will be so cool and hopefully drive additional sales.  For the first year ever, we will be offering (for a fee) home delivery to the Battle Ground/Brush Prairie area.  There will be restrictions on this so be on the lookout for a separate email with more information. We’re also working out the details on available curbside pickup.

We will be following/enforcing Clark County’s strict social distancing guidelines and will keep you posted as changes unfold but for now, plan on wearing a mask (please provide your own).

As in previous years, the stand will be located in Hazel Dell on the corner of Highway 99 and 99th St (Bob’s Paint Land parking lot) and operate from June 27 thru July 5.
